Wubbzy and his friends from the hit Emmy Award®-winning Nick Jr.® TV series, “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!,” will captivate fans and fairytale lovers alike with “A Wuzzleburg Tale.”  The newest release in the Wubb-loving, chart-topping collection from Anchor Bay Entertainment, the enchanting new DVD makes its valiant national retail debut, April 3, 2012.

Throughout the six charming adventures in “A Wuzzleburg Tale,” Wubbzy and his best pals,Walden, Widget and Daizy, encounter different fairytale characters, situations and challenges that all lead to social skills-building fun!  Preschoolers will travel through the Enchanted Grove with Wubbzy and Daizy as they search for a pickleberry bush for Widget in “Once Upon A Wubbzy”; solve the big mystery of why Wubbzy’s closest friends go missing on his birthday in “The Big Birthday Mystery” and try on a whole new size with Wubbzy and Daizy as they shrink themselves down with Widget’s Shrinky Dinky 3000 in “Welcome To The Dollhouse.”

Additional episodes on the DVD include: “Happily Ever After,” where Wubbzy is delighted by the fairytale of the Hopping Dipple-Dop; “Too Many Wubbzys,” when Wubbzy learns that being in two places at once can pose a problem and “Focus Wubbzy!,” in which Wubbzy learns the importance of responsibility, listening to instructions and paying attention.  The new release also delivers to Wubbzy fans “wubbtastic” coloring and activity sheets and music videos that will have them singing along!

Wubbzy!,” a hit with young viewers and their families since its 2006 TV premiere on Nickelodeon®, currently airs daily on Nick Jr.  Wubbzy is a fun, lovable, curious little guy who just likes to play, play, play with his friends in the eye-popping town of Wuzzleburg.  The top-rated series supports preschool social skills – sharing, listening, compromising, helping and appreciating others, self-awareness and the use of humor as a coping skill.

Although their world is more fanciful and imaginative than our own, Wubbzy and his friends deal with the same social and developmental issues faced by preschoolers.  They learn how they fit into a group, how to understand their own feelings and those of others, how to get along with one another and about the value of friendship and community.
