We took our annual trip to the Farm Animal Days event at NCSU again this year! This is our 3rd year attending in a row, and while we still loved it, it was definitely a much quicker trip this year! I think it, sadly, will end up being one of our last years attending. His favorite things were STILL the tractors and the baby chicks…and he said this time he really loved the bunnies too, especially the BIG bunny!!

SO many sweet bunnies!!

the BIG bunny - (s)he was SO cute and SO big!!

petting the baby goat - loved these little guys!

giving milking a "cow" a try (not a real cow, LOL)

and of course, holding the SWEET baby chicks!!!

last, but not least...gotta visit the tractors!!
Here’s a link to our trip last year, and the year before! It’s neat to see him change through the years!

The BIG bunny was a blue senior Checkered Giant buck named Dano. Checkered Giant being the breed. Blue being the variety or color. Senior meaning he is mature (nine months and older in this breed). And buck meaning he is a male. I know – cause it was my rabbit. Glad that you’ve enjoyed NCSU’s Farm Animal Days. The bunnies will be back again in 2013. You never really get too old for this. Mae
